EmbryoScope™ Embryo Monitoring System
The Vision to Decide
Currently, assessment of embryo development in IVF is limited to brief “snap-shot” glimpses at defined time points, in order to minimize disturbances to culture conditions. However embryo development is a dynamic process and a wealth of information about embryo history is sacrificed to avoid potentially damaging effect to embryo quality caused by removal from a controlled temperature and gas environment.
The EmbryoScope™ Embryo Monitoring System provides a safe, controlled culture environment, while allowing continuous monitoring and observation of up to 72 embryos at a time. The instrument provides a unique opportunity to develop new parameters for future embryo scoring and improve embryo assessment in IVF.

Constant surveillance of all embryos
- undisturbed culture in a stable environment
Research has shown that changes in Temperature, pH and exposure to light may be damaging to embryo development. The EmbryoScope™ monitoring system allows you to observe all patients embryos, all of the time without ever disturbing incubation conditions. Get an immediate overview of a patients embryo, or use the intuitive touch screen to replay and review individual embryos. See the EmbryoScope™ virtual guide for features of the EmbryoScope Monitoring System.
Flexible evaluation
- do it when you want, never miss anything
- Ethernet connection to the optional EmbryoViewer™ allows possibility of remote observation via secure network.
- More flexible timing for embryo scoring means improved time and resource management
- Instant and continuous overview of all patient embryos.
- Refocus in multiple planes, replay time-lapse or use “Live” view to assess embryo quality.
Complete 4D documentation
- knowledge building through retrospective analysis
- Time-lapse analysis image files and all incubation parameters are automatically stored with the patient file for review at any time.
- Use the EmbryoViewer™ workstation to review, annotate and compare synchronized time-lapse movies from different embryos from the same or different patients present or past.
- Possibility for remote access to allow consultation with other partners.
- Opportunity to optimize and develop new assessment parameters.
