June 17 2010 -On behalf of Unisense FertilTech, CSO Niels Birger Ramsing accepted Ingeniøren (The Engineer) magazine's prize for best product design and development in the category of medical equipment.  In addition, The EmbryoScope Monitoring System won main prize, and overall winner in all 6 categories.

 

Unisense-coordinated joint project receives second round of funding from The Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation

With the project "4D CellVision - Advanced incubator for spatio-temporal analysis of cell culture development", our vision is a novel type of advanced incubator that will be essential to all future work and therapeutic use of cell cultures, stem cells and pre-embryos e.g. for in vitro fertilization. 13 mio DKK were received by five partners. Pasteur Award

CSO Unisense FertiliTech, Niels B. Ramsing was nominated for the prestigious Pasteur Award 2008.

Every year, The Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation awards The Pasteur Award to a project leader in one of the foundation's projects and platforms.

The recipient is acclaimed for:
- making an extraordinary effort in creating a good framework for a constructive cooperation between the participating companies, universities, and hospitals;
- having a special eye for how (primary) research can be translated into knowledge and technology which can be commercialized for the benefit of Danish society;
- being a competent networker who excels in the challenging discipline of managing research, even when it moves in unpredictable directions
 

Unisense-coordinated joint project receives 11.3 mio DKK from The Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation
The Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation supports "projects which are relevant to advanced technological research and/or innovation..." paying "...special attention to applications which fall within the areas of nano-, bio-, and/or information and communication technology, including the interface between these areas." In total, 13 out of 97 applications were approved. See details here

DNA Industrial Prize 2005

Niels B. Ramsing, CSO Unisense FertiliTech, receives the “Industrial Prize” from The Danish Academy of Natural Sciences (“Danmarks Naturvidenskabelige Akademi”). This prize is awarded once a year, or once every second year, to a researcher from the business community, or a university, who has excelled in coordinating cooperation between one or more Danish enterprise(s) and a Danish university within the field of  biology, computer sciences, physics, geography, geology, chemistry, mathematics, or technical sciences.
